November 3 will have Linda Cropp to speak; September 1 had Adrian Fenty. Other upcoming events:

• The rededication of the Methodist Cemetery, where many of Tenleytown's founders are buried, will be on Sunday, October 9, 2-5 pm.
• We are working on being included on the Cultural Tourism Tours held on April 22-23.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION

The Art of Lily Spandorf, Friday, April 22, 7:30-10 pm, Great Hall, St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, 4201 Albemarle Street, N.W. This event is sponsored by Tenleytown Neighbors Association and Tenleytown Historical Society and will present a film and talks on the paintings of Lily Spandorf, who painted scenes of Tenleytown and other areas of Washington, D.C. Light refreshments will be served.
