Soapstone Valley Project Leads ANC-3F Agenda
On Monday, Chairman Adam Tope released the agenda for the October 15 ANC-3F meeting, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Methodist Home located at 4901 Connecticut Avenue, NW. The meeting also will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
DC Water will provide an update on the Soapstone Valley Sewer Rehabilitation Project. Twenty minutes is allocated for discussion of the project, but given commissioners’ and residents’ strong interest and opinion on Soapstone Valley, expect this segment to run long. Also on the agenda is discussion of potential curb cuts at 3600 Albemarle Street, NW – a topic that led to a lengthy and contentious exchange between commissioners and the applicant at last month’s meeting. Hopefully round two will go more smoothly.
