Get Tickets Now: “West Side Story” is Coming to Tenleytown
The 1957 musical West Side Story comes to Tenleytown this month as the Wilson Theater Arts Company presents the story of two young lovers caught between warring street gangs in New York City in the modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
An 18 piece orchestra comprised of Wilson High School students and members of the community will bring to life the well-known score, including the iconic songs “Maria,” “I Feel Pretty,” and “America,” among others. Nearly 100 Wilson students will contribute their talents to the production.
West Side Story will run for two weekends with 7:30 p.m. performances on November 15, 16, 22 and 23. A special matinee performance will be given at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 23.
