Eat at DC Chipotle, Help Local Libraries

We know you want a burrito. And now you have a good excuse to enjoy one. Today, August 26, from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. half of the proceeds of your meal at Chipotle will go to benefit the DC Public Library Foundation.

Eat at any Washington, DC Chipotle restaurant – though we’re partial to the one in Tenleytown at 4301 Wisconsin Avenue – and show your server the above image on your smartphone or hand him a printout. You must have a copy of the flyer, virtual or physical, to ensure your meal benefits the DC public libraries.

The Mexican restaurant chain will donate up to $5,000, so maybe pick up some extra tacos for your friends, too.

The DC Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enhances DC Public Library resources and programs to promote, in all community members, literacy and a thirst for knowledge.
