Just a couple weeks ago, the Tenleytown, D.C. website turned one. As we mark the anniversary, I want to thank everyone who met with me as I started this project, introduced me to neighbors, community leaders and other netizens, and gave their support to the endeavor whether with advice, a kind email or a keen eye for typos.
Most importantly, I want to thank you, our readers. Honestly, when I began this project I wasn’t quite sure if anyone would even come to the site. But I felt driven to explore our neighborhood, build community, and share with others what makes Tenleytown unique – and I hoped there were others like me out there.
Never did I expect, however, that there would be hundreds of people like you who follow the site and visit us regularly.
So again, I say thank you.
As Tenleytown, D.C. moves into its second year, we also want to hear from you. What would you like to see more of on the site? What topics or issues do you want to read about? What are you dying to know about Tenleytown? This site is not just about the Tenleytown community, it’s for the community. So please, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or add your thoughts to the comments section below.
And if you think you might want to join the Tenleytown, D.C. team, let us know that, too. We’re always looking for good contributors.
Finally, if you like what you read on the site – or even if you sometimes disagree – share your thoughts in the comments sections, send us an email, like us on Facebook, and/or follow us on Twitter. We love to hear from you!
