The Wilson Aquatic Center will be closed on Thursday, September 25 due to the Department of Parks and Recreation’s annual all staff development conference. DPR facilities throughout the city will also close their doors for the day.

In a press release, DPR says that it “will use this day to convene all the agency’s employees to review the level of service DPR provides to DC residents and visitors; and to set goals to ensure that residents continue to receive high quality service at all DPR centers, parks and DPR-sponsored events and activities.”

The Wilson Aquatic Center recently reopened on Sunday, September 21 after a three-week closure for annual maintenance and intensive cleaning of the pools.

Normal hours of operation will resume on Friday, September 26.
