It’s Election Day – Go Vote!

I voted by Jamelah e

Election Day is finally upon us! If you did not cast your ballot through early voting, you can vote today at your assigned polling station any time between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Not sure where your polling station is? You can find out online at the DC Board of Elections website by entering your residential address. For more information on the voting process and the November general election in the District, you can also check out the Board of Election’s voter’s guide.

There are numerous offices on the ballot, including Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives, Mayor, Chairman of the Council, At-Large Member of the Council, Ward Member of the Council, Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, and Ward Member of the State Board of Education, as well as an initiative on legalizing marijuana. With so many positions open that have a direct impact on this neighborhood and the larger city in which we live, please make your voice heard and go vote. We may not have a vote in Congress, but we do have a say in who represents us right here at home.
