Grant Requests, Liquor Licenses Dominate Tonight’s ANC-3E Agenda
Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 3E will consider grant requests from four community groups and liquor license renewals for World Market and Whole Foods at its November meeting. In addition, the commission will receive an update from the Second District police and hear from an architect for a property at 4715 Massachusetts Avenue regarding a potential exception to use the single family home as an office. Barring any surprises, tonight’s meeting should move swiftly, a nice change of pace for the Tenleytown commission whose meetings tend to edge toward midnight.
The meeting will take place in the Black Box Theater at Wilson High School, 3950 Chesapeake Street, NW. Attendees are advised to enter the building from Chesapeake Street, take the stairs on the right after entering the building, and proceed through the double doors. The Black Box Theater is the first room on the right.
