Police Seek Help in Identifying Hudson Trail Outfitters Burglar

According to a release issued today, the Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual who broke into the Hudson Trail Outfitters store in Tenleytown.

The burglary occurred on Wednesday, November 26 at 4:24 a.m. Security camera footage captured the perpetrator as he used a tire iron to smash through the lower level entry doors on Brandywine Street. Video shows the individual running through the store and grabbing an armful of clothing before exiting back through the broken door window.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or submit information by the text tip line by text messaging 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a burglary committed in the District of Columbia.
