UPDATE: MPD has made an arrest related to this incident.

The Metropolitan Police Department has issued a request for information about two individuals who may have been involved in a robbery near Wilson High School on Thursday afternoon.

According to Tabatha Thompson, two young men stole an iPhone from her daughter’s babysitter after the sitter loaned it to another young man who asked to make a call. The boys grabbed the phone from the other youth and ran off. The sitter had just picked up Thompson’s daughter from school.

Images of the youths, included in the slideshow above, were captured by a bystander across the street and later released by MPD.

In an email to the Tenleytown community, Thompson relayed that police told her there had been a recent spate of mobile phone thefts near Fort Reno.
